The old site was run on a Magento 1 platform, one of the pioneers of open source web stores. Unfortunately Magento will stop supporting Magento 1 in the near future and the costs of upgrading to Magento 2 are high!
Plus with hackers and spammers getting more and more devious, we felt the days of a "DIY" site are perhaps numbered and wanted the reassurance of having someone behind us to ensure that any information our customers put on the site is kept as safely as possible.
Which is why we chose It'seeze .
When you come to use the site, we think the main difference you will notice is that products we sell as a bundle, for instance a pack of 12 scarves, are now priced per pack, rather than as a single item. The same applies to fabric sold per roll: we now price per full roll & assume a standard roll length, e.g 48 metres, rather than per metre, as on the old site. The exact length of the roll will be applied to your invoice and the item will be invoiced per metre as normal.
As a trade supplier we have a minimum order value of £75. If you get this error message when you try to checkout "We do not have a standard delivery rate for your address. Please contact us to discuss delivery options.", it probably because you need to add more items to bring the order over £75. As long as the order value is over £75, the normal £8.00 shipping will apply. UK Mainland orders only. Carriage to other regions and countries will be quoted once we receive your order.
Do get in touch via the contact form if you have any questions and, of course, we welcome any suggestions you have on ways in which the site can be improved.
